From Injection Planning to Field Economics
Hi! This week we're releasing a really incredible update:
- Injection well planning – You can now either set the number of injection wells manually or define a production-to-injection ratio (for example, 2 production wells for every 1 injection well). Injection well types are also supported in CSV imports.
- We've significantly optimized the well-saving step. Previously, saving a drilling plan could take several seconds due to a bottleneck that we've now eliminated.
- My favorite part – ECONOMICS! We've added a new economic evaluation stage at both the field and reservoir levels. Each forecast scenario (ML/P10/P50/P90) is now processed using an economic model that you can configure manually or by using economic templates. The current model is intentionally simple, but we'll continue improving it. Thankfully, we have one of the most experienced advisors helping us with this!
With all these updates, we're getting really close to making QuickField.ai a true end-to-end solution for oil greenfield development planning.
If you work with risk analysis, production forecasting, or investment decisions related to oil field development, you'll definitely like this application.
During almost every demo, we hear the same reaction:
"Wow, that's incredibly fast! Is it really working? How can I trust the results?"
You can trust them because we've spent years collecting and validating the data used by our production forecasting models, and we've performed dozens of tests to evaluate their accuracy. If that's still not enough, we're happy to provide you with access so you can test the application using a field whose production history you already know. If you have data for just five petrophysical properties, we can work with it!
The complete workflow now looks like this:
- Turn on the kettle
- Define the petrophysical properties of your reservoirs
- Create a drilling plan
- Get production forecasts and risk analysis.
- Configure the economic model and see whether your development scenario is profitable.
- Wait one more minute for the kettle to boil, grab your tea or coffee, and enjoy your day. 😉
